Congratulations to Arpita Khamle from the Therapeutics Design and Discovery Lab!

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our team whose research article,“Dual Inhibition of IDO1 and TDO: A Unified Therapeutic Strategy to Combat Alzheimer’s Disease and Cancer”(ACS Chem. Neurosci. 2025, 16, 17, 3312–3322; https://doi.org/10.1021/acschemneuro.5c00329), has been honored with a cover feature in ACS Chemical Neuroscience (Vol. 16, Issue 17, September 3, 2025).

This remarkable work presents a novel phytochemical-based therapeutic approach that simultaneously targets metabolic and neuroinflammatory pathways, paving the way for integrated strategies to combat both Alzheimer’s disease and cancer.

The cover art, which beautifully captures this concept, was created by Arpita Khamle (First Author) using OpenAI’s DALL·E platform.
