Dr. Parth Sarthi Sen Gupta is an Associate Professor in the School of Biosciences and Bioengineering at D Y Patil International University, Pune. An experienced, goal-oriented researcher in the field of bioinformatics, computational chemistry, and biology.

Varshini Kore
PhD Student
Varshini Kore is a Ph.D. student at D Y Patil International University (DYPIU), Pune, specializing in computational medicine with a focus on microbial resistance.
A graduate of DYPIU, she completed her M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology, where she developed a strong foundation in molecular biology and computational tools.
Her Ph.D. research combines advanced computational modeling with microbiological insights to tackle the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance.
By identifying novel therapeutic targets, she aims to contribute to innovative drug development and healthcare strategies.
Varshini’s work exemplifies her dedication to impactful, interdisciplinary research, making her a promising voice in computational medicine.

Abhishek Lakhera

Abhishek Lakhera is a Ph.D. student at
D Y Patil International University (DYPIU), Pune, specializing in computational medicine with a sharp focus on infectious diseases.
He holds a B.Tech in Biotechnology from the prestigious G.B. Pant Institute of Engineering & Technology, which laid a strong foundation in biotechnology and its various applications.
At DYPIU, Abhishek employs advanced computational modeling to study infectious diseases. His research aims to uncover novel insights into disease dynamics and identify potential therapeutic interventions.
His interdisciplinary approach integrates biotechnology, bioinformatics, and medicine, addressing critical global health challenges.

Arpita Khamle
PhD Student
Arpita Khamle is a Ph.D. student at D Y Patil International University (DYPIU), Pune, specializing in computational medicine with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases.
She holds an M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology from DYPIU, where she gained expertise in advanced biotechnological techniques and computational tools.
Arpita's Ph.D. research explores the underlying mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders using computational modeling and data analysis.
Her work aims to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets, contributing to the development of innovative treatment strategies for diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
